The Cresta Alta Film Tour has been engaging audiences throughout the US with arts councils, colleges, high schools, and museums through Risan Media’s expedition-based climate change documentary film, Cresta Alta, which chronicles a journey to Alaska, Iceland, Chile, and Peru to document glaciological research expeditions and sustainability. The film screening is followed by a Risan Studies Q&A and Panel Discussion with environmental filmmaker, Todd Anders Johnson, Rick Bishop, Executive Director, Friends of Bass River, and David Fryxell, Ph.D., Executive Director & Ecologist of the Dennis Conservation Land Trust.

Todd Anders Johnson studied development issues at the University of Washington. With a foundational perspective that more sustainable policies are imperative and that there are effective renewable and sustainable options to employ at the regional, national, and global levels, Todd has dedicated himself to the arts, creating entertaining and educational film, music, and events.

50% of all ticket proceeds directly support The Risan Project’s Cresta Alta film screening tour.
