Sports Photography with Dave Mullen

Sunday, October 5, 1:00-4:00pm (classroom)

Friday, October 10, 6:00-8:00pm (football game at DY High School)

Optional: Tuesday October 14, 7:00-8:00pm (online image review)

Photographing sports requires an entirely different skillset (and mindset!) from photographing landscapes, still lifes, or portraits! In the classroom we’ll explore an overview of equipment, techniques, and psychology needed to photograph fast moving action. The following Friday we’ll meet at Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School to photograph the football game. Then on Tuesday from 7:00-8:00pm we’ll have the opportunity to review and discuss images online via Zoom.

Needed: DSLR or Mirrorless Camera, longest lens, fastest lens, empty storage card(s).
