Join us to learn how to make your own silkscreens.

You will learn two methods of screen building and be able to make your own.

Explore the beautiful process of printing on clay using silkscreen stencils, layered color, stamps, and underglaze techniques. In this creative hands-on workshop, students will learn how to bring pattern, imagery, texture, and personal design onto the surface of clay before shaping it into a finished ceramic form.

Day 1 – make your own screens.
Day 2 – use the screens you made, or screens we provide to create a plater or vessel.

Students will use ceramic inks and have the opportunity to custom mix their own colors, allowing for a more personal and expressive surface design. A wide variety of stencils and stamps will be available to explore, giving each student the freedom to create a piece that feels unique to their own style.
