Join us for History on Tap with Sandy Macfarlane as she uncovers the fascinating stories shells tell and their surprising connections to our lives. From tiny, delicate fragments to bold, colorful, or even drab specimens, each shell holds a tale – not just of the creatures that once inhabited them, but of the ways we interact with the natural world. Drawing on her decades of experience as a Shellfish Biologist and Conservation Administrator for Orleans, Sandy will share how her own collection grew, often in unexpected ways, reflecting both the rich diversity of life along our shores and the hidden stories they reveal about us.
