“Cape Cod has long been in the path of deadly hurricanes and fierce storms. Notable summer visitors include the 1938 “Long Island Express,” the 1944 Great Atlantic Hurricane, Hurricanes Carol and Edna in 1954, and Hurricane Bob in 1991 — all of which destroyed homes and left coastal communities flooded. In fall and winter, the Cape has weathered the “Portland Gale,” the Blizzard of 1978, the January 1987 nor’easter, and the “Perfect Storm” of 1991, which brought record-high tides. Join Don as he revisits the Cape’s most severe weather events and their devastating impact.

Enjoy craft beer from our sponsor, Cape Cod Beer, along with cheese, crackers, water, and non-alcoholic beer options.

We highly recommend reserving your tickets on our website in advance. Popular events often sell out quickly, and we cannot always accommodate walk-ins. Don’t miss out—plan and secure your spot! “
