Celebrate Chef Joe’s 10th Anniversary with the 1st meal he proposed!

Saturday, February 28th: on this date 10 years ago I started here at the Cultural Center. They asked me to do a Tuscan wine dinner. I proposed a dinner with rabbit and wild boar. They thought it was a little risky, so we had chicken and polpettinis that night.

Since then I have prepared kangaroo, yak, all types of seafood, fowl, exotic vegetables and other uncommon foods in the Simoneau Kitchen here at the Cultural Center! Tonight to celebrate my anniversary, we will have the original menu I proposed.

We will start with seafood bruschetta, rabbit pâté with pistachios and assorted radicchio leaves, wild boar sugo with chestnut pasta, and we’ll finish with Vin Santo Zabaglione with dried berries and nuts. There will be complimentary Chianti served. This is a BYOB event so bring your good Tuscan whites and reds with you!
