Dream Tale Puppets will perform “Jack and the Beanstalk” for children ages 3 and up and their families.

When Jack sells the family cow for a handful of magic beans, he launches his family on a GIANT adventure. This joyous and imaginative production transports audiences up the beanstalk using every style of puppet character, from hand puppets and masks to marionettes. Lively narration, beautiful design, and hilarious physical comedy make this an inspiring and memorable show for all ages. The performance runs approximately 45–50 minutes.

This event is the second program in the Cotuit Puppetry Series. Following “Jack and the Beanstalk”, the series continues with “Alice, or the Red King’s Dream” on Wednesday, July 22, and “Badger Meets the Fairies” by Margaret Moody Puppets, both at 11:00 a.m. at Freedom Hall.

Dream Tale Puppets, founded in 2003 in Mashpee and led by Jacek Zuzanski, produces and performs puppet shows, offers workshops and classes, and trains actor-puppeteers.
