LENGTH: 5 Monday Classes   January 5, 2026 – February 2, 2026  11:00am – 1:30pm

LEVEL: advancing beginner to intermediate

WHAT TO EXPECT: Take your drawing skills to the next level with artist Ana Johnson-Moore! Students will go beyond the fundamentals in this 5-part class and explore perspective, texture, shape, value, and composition. You’ll hone your technique and learn to create realistic images. Participants can look forward to learning in a supportive and inspiring environment.

MATERIALS: Basic materials are included, but you may want to purchase the following so you can practice your skills at home:

● 11×14″ sketch pad (or similar size), medium-weight paper in beige or gray

● Drawing pencils, incl. both H pencils (harder, lighter) and B pencils (softer, darker)

● One light blue pencil (standard)

● Charcoal pencils

● Erasers (kneaded and standard)

● Blending stumps

● Spray fixative

● Pencil sharpener, ruler, masking tape

DON’T FORGET: This class is held upstairs in the Abbott Studio in the Education Wing. Bring a snack for the break.
