First come first serve no reservation required, museum tours available after the talk for an admission fee.

Barnstable Comedy Club, our local Barnstable community theater has been entertaining us for ONE HUNDRED AND FOUR YEARS. How did it get started? Who were the major players? Come hear Rachael Kenneally, the Barnstable Comedy Club’s historian, tell us about the rich history of the theater. She has pored over many photographs, newspaper articles, playbills, the works. She set up exhibits for its centennial celebration in 2022. Rachael is not only the club’s historian, she also performs in the theater’s musicals and in other theaters on the Cape and serves on the Board of Directors. Currently she’s in rehearsal for the Barnstable Comedy Club’s fall musical, CURTAINS. So, shes got quite a tale to tell, from the past to the present.
