The Cape Cod Writers Center is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the April 11, 2026
Pathways to Publications program at the Hyannis Arts Hall, 81 Willow Avenue, Hyannis, MA, 02601.
Members as well as nonmembers of the Writers Center are welcome to register for one or both sessions of this day-long program. All writers, whether beginners or published, are invited to attend.
The first session, taught by Laura Carney on “How to Make Your Memoir Stand Out,” helps writers create stories with dramatic flair. Carney, a writer and copy editor, is the author of the best-selling My Father’s List: How Living My Dad’s Dreams Set Me Free. Her class is scheduled from 9:30 AM to noon.
The second session, taught by Roger A. Smith on Historic Fiction, author of the Rian Krieger’s Journey novels, shares lessons he learned to help students improve their literary techniques. Smith’s class runs from 1:00 to 3:30 PM.
