Join author Cynthia Elder for a look behind the scenes of her new historical fiction series, Tales of the Sea, based on hundreds of pages of unpublished ship’s logs, letters and journals from the Jenkins and Fish families of Cape Cod in the mid-1800s. Learn the true story of a seafaring family during the final chapter of the Great Age of Sail and the years leading up to and through the Civil War.
The two books in the series, The Journey Begins and The Drumbeats of War, will be available for sale and signing.
