Step by Step Line Dance  Beginner Workshop

• $20 per person
• 2 hour workshop
• For first-time line dancers or anyone who has struggled or felt rushed in other line dance classes.
You’ll learn:
•How line dancing works—repeating a sequence of steps, often turning to face new walls with each repetition
•How to count in 8s and match movement to musical phrasing
•Common footwork and movements, including turns, shuffles, k-step, jazz box, grapevines, and how they flow together.
Please note, this is a session for learning the basics and is designed for absolute beginners. While this is not a typical line dancing event or class (where the aim is to dance specific routines to well-known songs), you can still expect to have a lot of fun learning, and there will be dancing to music to integrate the movements learned.
Expect lots of verbal instruction, practice time, and a welcoming environment where questions are encouraged. You’ll finish with a solid grasp of line dance structure and movement basics — ready to build your skills from there.
