WHAT TO EXPECT: Have you ever wanted to try your hand at encaustic painting but thought it was too intimidating? Well, wax trapping is for you. Using layers of papers and wax you will create a personal pair of 6″x6″ canvases. Photographs and paper ephemera for inspiration will be supplied…or bring your own! What a fun and relaxing way to start the weekend!
EXTRAS: Each student will go home with 2 unique works of art!
DON’T FORGET: Dress to make art and tie long hair back. This class is held in the Makerspace downstairs in the Education Wing.
