Cape Cod Toy Library, Inc. celebrates opening its new expanded Community Play Space & Toy Lending Library at 1919 Main Street (6A), West Barnstable (at the corner of Rte.132 and 6A – just down the street from CCCC and YMCA). The 4,300 square foot building has been custom renovated to foster children’s creative exploration, play learning experiences, and family engagement. The Reggio-inspired environment includes areas for Creative Arts, Dramatic Play, Science Exploration, and Games Play, a Sensory Room, and an area for families with infants and toddlers. Special guests will be featured including musician, Paul Kehoe as well as children’s author, Christy Cashman, with her new children’s book pre-sales to benefit the Cape Cod Toy Library.
