Lee and Tennessee

New York director David Kaplan presents actors Luke Philip Bosco, John Dennis Anderson, and artist/actor Laura Shabott, in collaboration with Berta Walker Gallery, and the Tennessee Williams Festival.

From Director David Kaplan: This is a performance event with Laura Shabott practicing her own version of Lee Krasner’s 1976 breakthrough moment cutting up her early Provincetown drawings then reassembling them into new artwork, along with related scene work written by playwright Tennessee Williams and performed by three actors. We will be drawing a parallel to what Williams did in the late 1970s by reconfiguring his realistic 1940 Provincetown one-act, The Parade, into the surreal full-length play Something Cloudy, Something Clear.
