What happens when the star of a brand-new musical is murdered on opening night? The show must go on. Luckily, there’s a detective in the audience who might be the man to save it!

CURTAINS is a hilarious mystery comedy set in 1959 Boston, with a book by Rupert Holmes (The Mystery of Edwin Drood and “The Piña Colada Song”), lyrics by  Fred Ebb, and music by John Kander (Chicago and Cabaret), with additional lyrics by Kander and Holmes.

When the supremely untalented star of Robbin’ Hood of the Old West is murdered during her opening night curtain call, Lieutenant Frank Cioffi steps in. He’s a police detective, a devoted musical-theatre fan, and moonlights as a community theatre actor, and he’s determined to solve the case, save the show, and maybe even find love along the way.

But with a killer lurking backstage, everyone is a suspect!
