The Cape Cod Writers Center is pleased to announce that registration is now open for its 62nd Annual Conference at the Emerald Resort and Conference Center in Hyannis, which begins on July 31, 2025.
Mindy Todd, host and producer of WCAI’s “The Point,” will be the keynote speaker, discussing her years of experience behind the microphone and how the program selects authors for interviews.
All writers over the age of 18, whether beginners or published, are invited to register for one or more of the twenty-four courses taught by eleven author-teachers and three literary agents. Instructors include award-winning Hollywood producer Marilyn Atlas; best-selling author Steven Manchester; award-winning mystery writer Jeannette de Beauvoir, and Pushcart Prize-winning poet Sam Cha.
Among this year’s literary offerings are classes on point of view, writing for healing, speculative fiction, riveting memoir, and the American sonnet. Conference participants can also register for practical courses on revision, plotting, writing effective queries, how to give a talk, and pitching books to film and TV. Those who want their manuscripts individually critiqued may register for appointments during the conference with agents or faculty members.
Registration for the conference remains open until July 25, 2025.
