My name is Zavia Empey, owner of Zavia Walker. Zavia Walker is a fashion and lifestyle brand that focuses on handmade products. I am from the beautiful island of Jamaica and its rich culture has inspired my design process. My designs are colorful and bold. Items that will be featured in the Art Shanty:

Serving sets: This will include serving trays, coasters, cheese boards and wine racks. People are spending more time at home and these products would be perfect for entertaining friends and family or even just to spruce up your space.

Handmade jewelry and trinket trays: My earrings are designed to boost women’s confidence; with beautiful colors and a mixture of different materials. So many of us today just need a pick me up to brighten our day and what better way to bring your outfit up a notch than with the perfect accessory.

Handmade sandals: Cape Cod is a beach town and like Jamaica, sandals are quite popular during the warmer months. I started making handmade sandals in Jamaica in 2016. The designs give a minimalistic look, which shows off your feet.

Clothing: I use paintings and drawings that I make and then transfer the images on various clothing like my famous Island Life Jacket. I also use different techniques like tie and dye on dress shirts, to give a different spin on the classic buttoned down shirt.
