Susan Clark

Susan’s early career began in the fashion industry as a designer for clothing and managing ladies’ wear in retail. Bringing both of those experiences to the Cape, she learned weaving from experienced weavers on the cape, and also the Vavstuga School of Weaving in Shelburne Falls. Susan’s tapestries reflect a love of wildlife. All wearables and textiles are of natural fibers such as cotton, and wools of alpaca, merino, and mohair. All her work is one-of-a-kind. Susan is a member of the following groups: The Weaving Network, Handweavers Guild of America,(HGA)American Tapestry Alliance,(ATA) and Tapestry Weavers In New England (TWINE).
