Cape Cod based paper artist and calligrapher, Karla DeStefano has been honing her skills since opening her business, Franky & J. in 2015. Her evolution into paper arts came after being introduced to paper making while learning calligraphy. As a predominantly self taught artist, Karla loves learning about different art forms and incorporating them into her work.
Her primary medium is paper, but Karla considers herself a mixed media artist. The art of paper making has led her to a variety of work heavily influenced by color, texture, and the process of hands on crafting.
