Joyce Sullivan

I am a native of Massachusetts and have involved in many forms of art all of my life. Now living on beautiful Cape Cod, I find inspiration at every turn. I find inspiration from the ocean, hiking outdoors, kayaking and spending time in my gardens on Cape Cod, my family and my travels abroad.

I have been featured in Cape Cod Life Magazine and the Barnstable Patriot Newspaper. My paintings are primitive interpretations of life on Cape Cod many years ago. They are painted on masonite using acrylic or oil paints. My paintings have found a place in many local and far off homes.

My letterpress work is done in conjunction with my daughter in CA. using old print blocks from the 1800’s that were formally the property of the Barnstable Patriot Newspaper. They are truly a treasure from days gone by.

I am also offering hand painted tiles, tea towels and hand painted shell ornaments. Come take a look.

2020 has already given me much time to reflect and create. This year I have some new and I think, exciting art to offer. From hand painted cards, suitable and ready for framing to tiles and smaller pieces to decorate your home. I paint on hardboard as well as canvas in acrylic and oils. My work is reflective of this beautiful place we live in, Cape Cod. I have been painting, creating and experimenting with many forms of media.
