Jen Clinton is a self-taught watercolor artist living in Falmouth. Born and raised in Massachusetts, she has always had a bit of a creative bent with a love for all things ocean. Jen works in environmental and coastal policy, and her career has pulled her to Connecticut, California, Belgium, and Turks and Caicos. As a three-time washashore, Cape Cod has become home. 

Jen’s subject matter focuses on the seascapes, salt marshes, harbors, and lighthouses along our shores, and she primarily works in watercolors for their flexibility and ability to capture the Cape’s soothing palette. She started Saltwater Palette in 2017 as her way of painting love notes to the people and places that shaped her.
