Born and raised in Poughkeepsie, NY, Janet is a retired systems analyst / project manager who is happy to live on Cape Cod with her artist/musician husband, Don, and their lab mix rescue, Alto.

Janet works with semi-precious stones, fresh-water pearls, and unique beads to create wearable art.  Inspired by the beauty of the natural world, Janet - a percussionist with the Cape Cod Concert Band, the Cape Community Orchestra, and the Barnstable Town Band - believes there is an underlying rhythm to every piece of jewelry she creates.  She sketches, works, revises, and reworks until she uncovers the ideal arrangement of the elements to create a balanced, harmonious, and stylish design.
