Cris Reverdy

Cristina Reverdy has spent more than 30 years making a living through her art.

An accomplished muralist, Cris has both created and collaborated on hundreds of commercial and residential murals.

Cris’s largest “canvas”, measuring over 3,000 square feet, is located in Barnstable High School’s Cobb Astro Park.  This collaborative effort with friend and fellow artist Jackie Reeves took over 10 years to complete.

Her most recent murals, completed this past year, can be found at THE MUSIC ROOM gallery and wine bar in West Yarmouth.

Although painting has been her primary and most consistent focus though the years, Cris is driven by a need to explore and experiment with new materials. Her passion for pushing beyond the boundaries of conventional use and application is apparent in both her sculptural work and the diversity of her painting styles.

She credits the numerous commissions over the years, from clients possessing a variety of artistic preference, to her versatility and success as an artist. Whether it be a realistic and detailed portrait of a loved one, or a colorful abstract, Cris enjoys commissions of all kinds.

Cris’s most recognizable and best-known work includes large canvas paintings of shells, beaches, and cape cod landmarks. Many of these are available in giclee print in a variety of sizes.
