Amy Eldridge

Amy Eldridge, whose family has been on Cape Cod since the 1600’s, creates functional pottery inspired by her local Cape environment.

Using various methods of carving and painting, Amy hand builds mugs, tumblers, plates, bowls, platters and more with colorful images of local sport fish such as striped bass, bluefish, false albacore and Atlantic bonito. She uses both white porcelain clay and a deep, dark brown stoneware.

Amy currently works from a tiny resident artist studio at Meetinghouse Clay Center in Cataumet, making very small batches of work at a time.
