My background as an artist is in both art history and fine art. I’ve mainly worked in 2D art, but several years ago, I found pottery. I do some work on the wheel, but I focus mainly on hand building. I’m often able to implement my drawing and painting skills, knowledge of form and color, and a love of nature that surrounds me here on Cape Cod and the world in general. I have a deep appreciation for the artists that have gone before me and the ones I meet today and I am always amazed at the many directions clay can take you as an artist.
