Benjamin Burch

Hi! I’m Benjamin Burch.

Explorer, nomad, or wayfarer. Having grown up as a military brat, moving every three years
around the world, and a restlessness for travel, foreign shores and adventure as an adult, I have
had the opportunity to paint a plethora of diverse broad strokes into my worldview. The
wonderful pageantry of countries, cultures and ways of life have inspired a purpose for me as an
artist as I endeavor to share my worldview with you.

As a child I had always wanted to work in animation production and have been able to make
that dream come true. I have worked as a visual development artist for Dreamworks and Liaka
Studios, a background designer and painter on various animated television series, a
contributing artist to Disneyland’s Wonderground Gallery, an illustrator on a number of Little
Golden Books and an art director on a Sesame Workshop series providing educational content
for refugee children to name a few highlights.

My personal and professional experiences harmonize and have pointed out the direction of my
art work. Stylistically I am greatly influenced by mid century modern design and animation.
When I am not doing art, I like to hike, snowboard, play my bass, cook and, of course, travel.

Thank you so much for your time and interest!
