I gather wood and turn (using a lathe) wooden bowls, platters, baby rattles, and other wooden wares. The wood for my work comes from downed trees, discarded firewood, and the remnants of arborists. I work almost exclusively in local hardwoods- though I can get excited about Juniper, Norfolk Pines, and redwoods.
