This hybrid offering will be presented live at Snow Library on November 18\, 2025\,\n1:30pm – 4:00pm. The program will also be available through Zoom & recorded. Featuring the late Mick Moloney\, a legendary folklorist and banjo rambler\, and choreographer/performer Lenny Sloan\, it showcases art’s great power to bridge divisions. Brighton Beach is a portrait of the immigrant communities\, mostly Soviet Jews and Puerto Ricans\, as they enjoyed life’s simple pleasures\, performing\, gossiping\, and mingling on the boardwalk with long-time residents\, coexisting in their shared uprootedness.

By using free applications like Snapseed and the free version of Lightroom Mobile\, we can improve upon reality and add our own artistic voice to our images before sharing them with the world. DESCRIPTION:Nature’s Canvas Youth Classes with Grace Walls \nWednesdays:\n9:30 am – 11:30 am \n4 week classes – $110 – August 4-August 27 (Register by July 30) \nYou must pre-register for class sessions. Students ages 8+. Classes are limited to 15 students. \nJoin our Youth summer classes with different art forms weekly exploring the beauty of nature! \nOur classes are led by Marine Biologist Grace Walls\, designed to bring Art into STEM education. Go beyond pencils and paint with 3D creations and new techniques to create lasting memories! Students ages 8+ are welcome. \nCape Cod Art Center classes that support and promote the appreciation of Cape Cod’s natural environment and our local communities\, are made possible in part by the generous support of the Town of Barnstable and Barnstable Village Cultural District.
