DESCRIPTION:Wheel & Hand with Holly:\nA Self-Directed Workshop for Intermediate Students\n \n \nBass River – Hilliard Studio\n\n\n \n \n8 Tuesdays\, March 10-April 28\, 2026     9:30am – 12:00pm.\nMember $380\, Non-member $418\n\n\n\n\n\nLENGTH: 8 classes\n\nLEVEL: intermediate and beyond\, students with EITHER wheel or handbuilding experience or both\n\nWHAT TO EXPECT: For intermediate students\, this hybrid workshop for both wheel and/or handbuilding will get you to the next level\, combining self-directed work with instructor support. Work at your own pace\, set goals\, try new things\, and level up your skills under Holly Heaslip’s expert mentorship.\n\nREQUIREMENTS: Handbuilding students: at least two prior handbuilding classes. Wheel students: the ability to consistently center clay and throw an even-walled cylinder on the wheel. This is not a class for beginners. SUMMARY:'The Glass Experience' hands on class at SGM for ages 12 and up!
DESCRIPTION:Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a glass blower? \nCome to the Sandwich Glass Museum for your own up-close and personal encounter with working molten glass! \nWhile the class is aimed at beginners with no prior experience\, you can also have fun coming back to try new techniques. \nThe Glass Experience is suitable for persons aged 12 and up. \n$150 per person / $275 for two people / $400 for three. \nYou will be working with molten glass so please dress appropriately. Specifically\, please wear:\nClosed toe shoes. No sandals\, flip flops\, etc.\nLong pants & socks\, no synthetics. Jeans are ok.\nLong sleeve shirt\, cotton. Again\, no synthetics.\nLong hair should be tied back.\nA bandana or sweat band is optional but can be useful.\nPlease drink plenty of fluids before you come and keep hydrated while you are in the studio.
