DESCRIPTION:Caregiving 101\nBCOA Resources for Caregivers with Stacey Cullen\nFriday\, April 10\, 2026  at 10:00 a.m.\nIn-person in the Conference Room\nThis program will review the vital parts of caregiving including an overview of dementia\, communication tools\, the importance of caregiver self-care and the benefits of contented involvement. \nNo registration required\, drop in! FREE!\nBCOA Resources is held in the Conference Room on the lower level. \nEvery month\, Support Services Coordinator Stacey Cullen from the Barnstable Council on Aging (BCOA) will be available at CPL to assist with resources for our caregivers and Barnstable citizens over the age of 60. \nThis program provides resources that benefit our residents and the people we care for.

DESCRIPTION:Social Group for Neurodivergent Teens\nMonthly on the second Friday from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m.\nIn-person in Community Room C \nOur amazing volunteer Isadora Greenberg leads this social group for neurodivergent teens. \nShe is a passionate advocate and role model for Cape Advocates Standing Together and has presented at several conferences. Isadora understands the social challenges a young person with autism and ADHD faces\, so this inclusive group is a safe space to be and celebrate YOU! \nActivities will be determined by the interests of the participants. We will share a variety of sensory items\, but feel free to bring your own and/or noise-cancelling headphones. \nThis group is intended for ages 12-18. Siblings are welcome\, caregivers may be asked to supervise. \nRegistration is required for this group.
