SUMMARY:TAYLOR ASHTON live at Chatham Orpheum Theater
DESCRIPTION:Taylor Ashton: Songs from Stranger To The Feeling\nDate: Thursday\, February 19\, 2026 \n6:00pm – 8:00pm \nAcclaimed Canadian-born\, Brooklyn-based songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Taylor Ashton brings his genre-defying blend of folk\, indie\, and Americana to the Orpheum. His latest album\, Stranger To The Feeling\, was recorded across a 4\,000-mile road trip and captures the landscapes\, friendships\, and reflections of a cross-country journey. \nTaylor’s performances are warm and inviting\, weaving deft guitar and banjo work with melodies that recall the intimacy of Nick Drake and the buoyant wit of Paul Simon. Collaborators on his recordings include members of Big Thief\, Lake Street Dive\, Vulfpeck\, and Mipso\, and his live shows channel that same spirit of connection and joy. \nTickets available at: https://chathamorpheum.org/exit-11

SUMMARY:Anthony Sammarco presents “Chocolate Makers from the Aztec to present day"
DESCRIPTION:Anthony Sammarco presents “Chocolate: From the Chocolate of the Aztecs to Baker’s\, Hershey’s\, Cadbury\, Schraffts and Toll House Cookies” \nChocolate is a food made from roasted and ground cocoa beans that can be a liquid\, solid\, or paste\, either by itself or to flavor other foods. Simple enough but few realize that chocolatle was the “Food of the Gods” and served warm flavored with vanilla and chili powder. By the 18th century\, chocolate and cocoa had become a favorite in Europe as well as in Boston. This lecture will outline the history of chocolate and explore the companies who produced it. From Baker’s\, Hershey’s\, Cadbury\, Schrafft’s to Toll House Cookies\, this lecture is sure to please! \nThis program will be held on Saturday February 14th at 12:30pm in the Main Meeting Room at the Osterville Village Library. \nFor more information or to register for this event\, please contact Amy Wolfe at awolfe@clamsnet.org or by calling the OVL directly at (508)428-5757
