DESCRIPTION:Today’s featured work: “Townscape” / “Tree Landscape” verso\, n.d.\, Charles Heinz\, Oil on canvas\, 26″ x 29.5″ x 2.25″ framed\, painted recto and verso \nDiscover your creativity during an inspiring and enjoyable afternoon of artmaking. \nGuided by instructor Michael Giaquinto\, you’ll draw inspiration from the Museum’s rich Permanent Collection and transform it into your own original artwork. Each month features a different piece from the Cape Cod Museum of Art’s collection\, allowing participants to see these remarkable works up close and learn their stories. \nAll materials — including acrylic paints\, canvases\, brushes\, palette knives\, and easels — are provided. \nPaint the Collection! welcomes artists of all levels — from seasoned painters to those picking up a brush for the very first time. Middle and high school students are welcome to participate when registered with a participating parent or guardian.
