With more than 20\,000 acres\, Cape Cod’s marshes are the ultimate defensive line—buffering storms\, fighting sea level rise\, and taking on climate change like absolute champions. But the matchup is tough: according to the Association to Preserve Cape Cod (APCC)\, 36% (roughly 7\,000 acres) of our historic salt marshes have already been lost or severely degraded. DESCRIPTION:Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a glass blower? \nCome to the Sandwich Glass Museum for your own up-close and personal encounter with working molten glass! \nWhile the class is aimed at beginners with no prior experience\, you can also have fun coming back to try new techniques. \nThe Glass Experience is suitable for persons aged 12 and up. \n$150 per person / $275 for two people / $400 for three. \nYou will be working with molten glass so please dress appropriately. Specifically\, please wear:\nClosed toe shoes. No sandals\, flip flops\, etc.\nLong pants & socks\, no synthetics. Jeans are ok.\nLong sleeve shirt\, cotton. Again\, no synthetics.\nLong hair should be tied back.\nA bandana or sweat band is optional but can be useful.\nPlease drink plenty of fluids before you come and keep hydrated while you are in the studio.
