DESCRIPTION: Step by Step Line Dance  Beginner Workshop \nSunday\, February 1\, 2026   1:00 – 3:00pm\n• $20 per person\n• 2 hour workshop\n• For first-time line dancers or anyone who has struggled or felt rushed in other line dance classes.\nYou’ll learn:\n•How line dancing works—repeating a sequence of steps\, often turning to face new walls with each repetition\n•How to count in 8s and match movement to musical phrasing\n•Common footwork and movements\, including turns\, shuffles\, k-step\, jazz box\, grapevines\, and how they flow together.\nPlease note\, this is a session for learning the basics and is designed for absolute beginners. While this is not a typical line dancing event or class (where the aim is to dance specific routines to well-known songs)\, you can still expect to have a lot of fun learning\, and there will be dancing to music to integrate the movements learned.\nExpect lots of verbal instruction\, practice time\, and a welcoming environment where questions are encouraged.
