Cape Cod Maritime Museum’s Young Mariner Program is a 4-day summer program full of maritime-themed STEM activities both on land and on the water for 4th through 7th grade children. SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AVAILABLE for Cape Residents, sessions run Monday through Thursdays 9am-12pm, weekly during summer vacation. Each session is one week long – pick your week! Cost is $300 for the 4 day session, $250 for Cape Cod residents, and scholarships are available for children who receive free or reduced lunches at school.
Activities include learning all about navigation, seamanship, tides, marine life, sailing, and local ecology. The camp is a multidisciplinary course designed to introduce young people to maritime culture, creatures, and science in a hands-on manner.
