Students will be introduced to a variety of artists using wood assemblage, including Duncan Johnson, Ursula von Rydingsvard, Sol LeWitt, and Kengo Kuma. Using wood blocks and hand sawn fragments, students will assemble sculptures, wall pieces, mobiles, and free-standing works using wood glue and paint. Part of the Cahoon Museum’s Summer Art Series.
