Join Action/Abstraction Redefined artists Manuela Well-Off-Man, Anita Fields, and Linda Lomahaftewa in virtual conversation via Zoom.
Learn about their groundbreaking art that fused American modern art movements such as Abstract Expressionism, Color Free, and Hard-Edge painting detailed with influences from their cultural heritage.

Manuela Well-Off-Man is an art historian and curator at the IAIA Museum of Contemporary Native Arts.
Born and raised in Eastern Westphalia, Germany, Well-Off Man previously served as curator at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, and as a curator of art at the Montana Museum of Art and Culture at the University of Montana in Missoula, Montana.

Anita Fields is nationally recognized as a ceramic’s artist for her clay sculptures and mixed-media installations, incorporating cultural symbolisms from the Osage Nations.

Linda Lomahaftewa experiments with Color Field painting and atmospheric depth. Her abstract paintings and prints reference experiences with Place, from her traditional homelands, and to her travels around the world.
