The Center for the Spiritual Journey presents “The History & Wisdom of the Labyrinth” ~ an ancient winding walking path!
Rev. Anne Bonney presents a power point program at the Center for the Spiritual Journey on June 28th from 10:00 am—12:00 noon.
We invite the community to learn more about the beautiful, circular, artistic designs called ‘labyrinths’ that have been a part of our evolving consciousness for thousands of years. A labyrinth is a meditative walk that winds it way to the center and back out again. With its twists and turns is often thought of as a metaphor for our lives.
Rev. Anne Bonney (see Bio) will be presenting a power point program at the Center for the Spiritual Journey on June 28th from 10:00 am—12:00 noon.
The first part will be a journey through the History and Wisdom of the labyrinth from ancient times to today’s modern and creative interpretations.
The presentation will be followed by a guided walk at the Chatham Labyrinth located in Chase Park just beyond the Gristmill.
There will be a charge of $25.00 for the program which includes light refreshments and handouts. In case of rain, we will walk our indoor labyrinth upstairs in the loft of the Center. All are welcome to come and learn as well as receive the gifts the labyrinth may hold for you! To register please go to: www.csjcapecod.org
