Wednesday, April 22, and Thursday, April 23, from 10am-noon. Get ready to move and groove to the tropical sounds of your own steel drum band! In this workshop, kids will learn about history of “pan,” as it is known in the Caribbean, and how pans are made. They will then, through aural rote, learn to play together and produce a few songs! No musical experience is necessary. Come join in the fun and the irresistible beat of steel drumming! This class is for kids ages 8-12 years old. $65 / $60 for members. To register, call 508-394-7100.
