Rising Stars is a performance show choir! Singers, ages 10+, will focus on vocal technique, movement, performance skills, and the joy of music-making in a group setting. Singers will prepare a couple of songs and possible solo numbers for a performance on the last day of camp, when parents and friends can attend and experience their amazing talents. Norma Atwood is the owner/instructor of Voice and Piano at Village Music, currently located at the Cultural Center of Cape Cod. Ms. Atwood received her B.A. in Theatre Arts from Northeastern University with a minor in Music and Biology. She received her Post Bach in Music Education at Akron University in Ohio and participated in Graduate studies in Voice at the University of Alabama. She received her Kindermusik licensing from Eastern Michigan University in Michigan.

Ms. Atwood has previously served as Music Director at the South Yarmouth United Methodist Church, Performance Director of CapeCodCAN, and Music Director for several musicals at Cotuit Center For the Arts. She was also a Soloist and Music Director throughout the Mid-West before moving to Cape Cod. Ms. Atwood is currently the Performance Director of the Esprit Players in Osterville.
