Satie, “Unique, To Say The Least”: Music Education Series on Composers (VIRTUAL)
Tuesday, October 18 from 1-2pm
Not many people quite understand just how bizarre French expressionist composer Erik Satie really was. He had a different outfit for every hour of the day, only ate white foods, and carried a hammer with him everywhere he went.
Join us as we comb through his endless quirks and learn what made the music of this self proclaimed “phonometrographer” so entrancing.
This program is virtual but we will project the program from our Community Rooms here at the library! Click here to register for this virtual event! (Before each program, you will receive the Zoom link for the entire series)
Program led by Dan Lupo, creator of FiveMinuteMozart.com – a music education platform with over 2 million views and 20k + subscribers.
