MusArt Interconnections are multi-media concerts founded and curated by pianist Ana Glig. MusArt stands for synthesis of music and art and promotes creation of new visual art influenced and inspired by a live performance of classical music. MusArt empowers auditory and visual experiences of the audience, it encourages more spontaneous, transparent creative processes and exchange between pianist and artist. This upcoming 2023 year, Cape Cod Museum of Art will be hosting pianist Ana Glig and her fourth MusArt Interconnections show in collaboration with a Cape Cod-based visual artist, Anne Tochka. Previous MusArt Interconnections collaborations includes the guest artist Susan Overstreet along with the poet Neil Silberblatt, artist Joe Digs, and Glig’s own art exhibition titled “Pandemic Reflections.”

About Anne Tochka – Before becoming a full time painter, Anne attended Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY and graduated with a BFA in Communications Design: Illustration. Educated as a visual storyteller, she further developed this skill in her professional life as a visual merchandiser and designer. She brings this training to her current work, using brushstrokes and color to describe the complex beauty in her surrounding world. Anne has completed artist residencies in Sibiu, Romania; Puebla, Mexico; Urubamba, Peru. She currently work out of a studio at the Guyer Barn on the HyArts Campus in downtown Hyannis, Massachusetts.

MusArt Interconnections is supported by the Cape Cod Museum of Art & Arts Foundation of Cape Cod. This program is also supported in part by a grant from the Brewster and Dennis Arts Cultural Councils, local agencies, which are supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
