A Mysterious, Hilarious, Biting Comedy!
A chalet in a ski resort; it’s evening, the snow’s coming down fast. In the dark, a group of friends are playing the game Sardines. There is a scream, the lights are switched on and Jane (Anna Linn), a successful screenwriter is found dead at the bottom of the stairs. As her four friends, film star Valerie (Sandy Basile), Betsy (Samantha Walker), the ingénue gossip columnist Edwina (Lizzy Smythe), renowned director Justin (Keith Richard Chamberlain) and her husband Hugh (Matt Gardner) lament her fall and try to understand
how it happened, Jane suddenly stands up and accuses the group of murder! Kitty (Delaney Sump) descends from “up there” to help find out who murdered Jane and to earn her own wings. An extraordinary whodunit with a surprise denouement.
Linda M. Stevens directs this comedy/mystery by Fred Carmichael. We welcome Judy Lombardo from Indianapolis who is the stage manager! MURDER ON THE RERUN opens tonight at 7:30 and continues through May 21st on Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 PM and Sunday matinees at 2:30 PM, however the is NO performance on Saturday May 20th. General admission tickets are $25 with a $2 discount for seniors 65+ and students. The Barnstable Comedy Club is air-conditioned for your comfort and seating is available 45 minutes prior to curtain on a first come, first served basis.
IMPORTANT: If coming from off Cape, please allow extra time to reach the theater as extensive work is being done on the Sagamore Bridge which is down to one lane and traffic gets backed up for miles.
