A fun event for the whole family!
After two years of hosting a virtual Mangia al Museo program, the Cape Cod Museum of Art’s popular culinary event will be “al Museo” once again! This 6th annual Mangia al Museo features an impressive line-up of local chefs who will compete for the coveted “Best Sauce” award!
This fundraising event was started by the CCMoA pottery students whose beautiful handmade bowls are central to the success of Mangia. Pottery Instructor Coco Raymond and the students have been working on the Mangia bowls since last September!!! Each bowl is hand thrown and glazed with exceptional creativity. No two are alike and attendees will be overwhelmed with the choices.
The evening begins with bowl selection. Each guest selects a ceramic pasta bowl to use during the evening and to take home! Then it’s time to sample each unique chef-prepared sauce served over fresh pasta. Meat and meatless, Gluten-free and vegan choices will be available. All attendees will vote for their favorite sauce and the winning Chef will be announced at the end of the evening.

• DAVID WHYNOT – owner of Lo Adoro Italian Market in Sandwich Village
• CAROLE KELAHER – owner of Corner of Yum, Dennis Village
• DOUG FOSS – owner, Foss Farms
• TOM BAYUK – lead Chef of Treats Catering, Dennis
• MARC SIEVERS – Entertaining Expert, Cookbook Author, Celebrity Chef on America’s Test
Kitchen: The Next Generation, Cape Cod resident.
• BILL DONAHUE, owner Cape Cod Kettle
In addition to the pasta and sauce, guests will enjoy Bad Martha Beer, Josh Cellars Wine, homemade bread, cheese and Italian cookies from the Underground Bakery, ice cream from Cape Cod Creamery and gourmet Macarons from Cape Cod Macarons.
Live music will be provided throughout the evening by BLU Central: Lary Chaplan and Frank Poranski. There will also be an exciting cooking/dining themed Silent Auction and a Gift Basket Raffle (valued over $600). Gift basket raffle tickets are now on sale at the Museum.
Tickets are $45 for CCMoA members / $55 for non-members / $25 for children under 12
A limited number of “Mangia Boxes” may be purchased in advance for those who would prefer to enjoy a pasta dinner in the comfort of their own home. See details on website.
