Parades around the Villages:

9 AM BARNSTABLE-WEST BARNSTABLE PARADE & HOUSE DECORATING CONTEST – 4th of July-themed parade through Barnstable Village and youth activities after at the Hollow playground area. Rain Date: July 5. Visit https://www.barnstablevillage.org/4th-of-july-2021.

10:30 AM CENTERVILLE – Kids and parade participants assemble at the Centerville Elementary School at 9:00 AM. At 10:30 AM, after the raising of the flag, the Pledge of Allegiance, and America the Beautiful, a Barnstable Fire Truck and Boy Scout Troop 54 Color Guard will lead the kids walking and on decorated bicycles and on floats to proceed onto Bumps River Road and onto Park Avenue connecting to Main Street, ending at the Recreation Center Rear Parking Lot. There Hot Dogs and Ice Cream will be served. Field games will be played. Awards for best bicycle decoration and best float will be given out. There will be face painting. Presented by the Centerville Civic Association.

11 AM COTUIT – The Parade begins on School Street, then left on Main Street and continues down Main Street to the prior Cotuit Elementary School. The termination point is the public field behind the old school building. Presented by the Cotuit Civic Association.

11 AM HYANNIS PORT MINI-MARATHON & PARADE – The traditional fun run starts at the Post Office at 9 AM followed by the parade at 11 AM beginning at the Hyannisport Post Office on Longwood Avenue; taking a left onto Washington Avenue; a right onto Lafayette Avenue; left onto Winchester Avenue; a left onto Scudder Avenue and continuing onto Dale Avenue to the West Beach Club, where it will end. West Beach Club.

5:00pm: Drive by with car parade  starting at the HYCC at 5PM and drive down HS Road Extension, turn right on Main Street, go down around the rotary, up South Street, left on Old Colony, left on Main and repeat a couple of times, depending on traffic.

2:00pm -9:30 pm DOWNTOWN HYANNIS:

The traditional Hyannis Marina Boat Parade with best viewing locations at Bismore Park kicks off the afternoon at 2PM followed by “Dancing in the Street” 4th of July day long celebration in downtown Hyannis.

Hyannis Main Street will be vibrant and lively with food, music, lights and experiences the whole family will enjoy, in Cape Symphony’s inaugural Joy 4 July free concert at Aselton Park at 8PM!

Come spend the afternoon and evening! Live music and dance at the Village Green and on each block of the mile-long street.
