9:00 AM

BARNSTABLE-WEST BARNSTABLE — Patriotic themed floats will parade through Barnstable Village with youth activities afterward at the Hollow playground area.

10:30 AM

CENTERVILLE — Kids and parade participants assemble at the Centerville Elementary School starting at 9:00 AM. At 10:30 AM, after raising the flag, giving the pledge of allegiance, and singing “America the Beautiful”, a Centerville Fire Truck and the Scout Troop 54 Color Guard lead those walking, riding decorated bicycles, pulling floats and or pushing strollers to proceed onto Bumps River Road, Park Avenue, and onto Main Street and ending at the Centerville Recreation Center rear parking lot. Once there, Parade participants are served hot dogs, ice cream, cotton candy and water; meet summer league baseball players; enjoy face painting; and are showered with candy from the “candy cannon”. Awards are given for Best Float and Best Decorated Bicycle. Presented by the Centerville Civic Association.

COTUIT — The Parade begins on School Street, with some walkers and fire vehicles lining up on High Street.  The parade proceeds down School Street and turns left onto Main Street before continuing down Main Street to the old Cotuit Elementary School property.  The termination point is the public field behind the school building. Presented by theCotuit Civic Association.

HYANNIS PORT MINI-MARATHON & PARADE — The traditional fun run starts at the Hyannis Port Post Office on Longwood Avenue at 9:00 AM followed by the parade at 11:00 AM beginning at the same location; taking a left onto Washington Avenue; a right onto Lafayette Avenue; left onto Winchester Avenue; a left onto Scudder Avenue and continuing onto Dale Avenue to the West Beach Club, where it will end. Presented by the West Beach Club.

COTUIT FIRECRACKER ROAD RACE — An annual Run/Bike/Walk Athon event at Lowell Park Field to celebrate the village of Cotuit and raise funds for several local non-profits. More information at www.semcsports.com.
