Historically toward the end of the Japanese Edo Period an art form known as Ukiyo-e (art of the floating world) was created. This method of wood block printing and artistic expression would have a lasting influence on European and American Impressionist artists. On exhibit are thirty-two Ukiyo-e prints by twelve notable 19th Century Japanese artists.
Exhibit runs from June 23 to Nov 25 Tuesday through Saturday
