Introduction to Polymer Clay Decoden

March 22 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Decoden is a collage style decorative trend from Japan that involves using lots of small pieces to create your own fun and quirky decorative works of art. In this class you’ll learn how to make realistic polymer clay miniature food. Techniques covered will include tool texturing, shading with pastels for realistic finishes, color mixing, making cane, and firing and finishing pieces. All of these skills can then be used to make other pieces of realistic polymer clay art including jewelry. Led by instructor Coco Raymond, this four week class is both fun and highly informative.
