In this beginner’s illustration class for older kids and teens, students will learn about character and world design, telling a story through images, and how to develop their own artistic process. Led by Mike Regan, a part time illustrator and full time social worker, this class will adapt to each student’s individual skill level and resources, encouraging everyone within a safe, judgment free zone. Check out Mike’s playful illustrations that combine action, fantasy and horror on Instagram at @knaveillustration and @spookydoodles.
This class will be offered as Pay What You Can with a suggested donation of $300. In order to put money into the hands of artists, 50% of proceeds go to the course instructor, 45% covers gallery operating costs, and 5% goes into our Grow Into Art Mentorship Program and our Fern Cunningham Memorial Scholarship.
